My Fitness education includes:
a Certification from the elite International Standard in Exercise Science Education; and
The American Aerobics Association International / International Sports Medicine Association (AAAI/ISMA).

In addition, I am Zumba Certified in Basic, Toning, Gold, Aqua and Zumba Kids.The Basic Certification focuses on a total workout, combining all elements of fitness-cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility and boosted energy.

Zumba Toning is tailored for active older adults, who want to focus on muscle conditioning and light weight activity.

Zumba Gold focuses on active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves at a lower-intensity.

Aqua Zumba is a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise which puts less stress on the joints as it is done in water.

Zumba Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba choreography. I break down the steps, add games and activities, while fostering childhood development elements like leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity and coordination.

I am also a dance instructor at The College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle NY; and Central Park Dance, Scarsdale NY.

These multiple certifications, including a Spinning certification from Schwinn, have brought my awareness of fitness, nutrition and an overall understanding of the human body, to heights that very few personal trainers achieve. As a result, my training sessions achieve results quickly and without injury. My routines are custom tailored to my client’s needs. I consult with them in order to understand their health objectives, fitness level, and previous injuries. Based on this assessment, I create custom workouts to attain their fitness goals and help them to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Together we focus on weight loss, endurance, strength and nutrition.

We can train in your home or at my home gym in White Plains.

I am available for Zumba parties, as well as, one on one personal training sessions.
